New College Festival – Books and Belief

The New College Festival of Books and Belief runs from 2–4 November and all events take place in the Martin Hall.

Join us on Thursday 2 November to hear Laura Saetveit Miles tell us ‘How to read like the Virgin’. Ayesha S. Chaudhry will be here on Friday 3 November to speak about her book, ‘The Colour of God’, which examines the joys and sorrows of life in the wreckage of colonialism. Later on Friday, Merryn Glover, Alastair McIntosh and Alistair Moffat form a panel to discuss ‘Journeys and Pilgrimages’ with Richard Frazer. And on Saturday 4 November, we welcome Alister McGrath, whose recent work explores how Richard Dawkins’ ‘The God Delusion’ has inspired 12 individuals to come to faith.

These are just a few of our talented speakers – have a closer look at these events on our website, where friends and family can book their tickets.
